Our Choice Of Music

After much searching Luke and I found a near perfect a fast paced, edgy contemporary music track from a royalty free source through YouTube user: thesecession are hope with this music track is that it will add drama and action to the trailer while matching the trailers unique style. This YouTube user actively encourage the music to be used in short films and we feel that the music added an extra layer of emotional depth and detail that otherwise would have been missing from our production.

For our film trailer the music was a key part, which lead to the length of time it took to find the right feel. We were truly looking for a piece that hep set the pace, mood and rhythm of the finished product. Because of this, we knew that getting the Soundtrack right for our trailer would be an important task and would ultimately make or break the production.

Even during the filming of the production piece Luke and I had a strong idea of what we were looking for in a soundtrack and this also helped us to film the scenes as it gave us a idea of the pace. I feel the music track we selected was successful in our aims and helped us greatly through the editing process.
